The “Invaders Drawn with Waste” exhibition, organized by Prof. Dr. Deniz İNNAL, was held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, hosted by our Faculty's Department of Biology. The exhibition, prepared by students from the Department of Precision Agriculture and Agricultural Robots, attracted significant interest from visitors.
As part of the event, students reinterpreted invasive biological species, which pose a serious threat to ecosystems, using the most commonly encountered waste materials on campus from an artistic perspective. The exhibition aimed to raise awareness about invasive species and draw attention to environmental pollution on campus.
Bringing together the themes of sustainability, environmental awareness, and the conservation of biological diversity, the exhibition demonstrated that students can develop creative and interdisciplinary approaches to environmental issues. The event, visited by academic and administrative staff as well as numerous students, was considered an important awareness effort in terms of environmental sensitivity.
The “Invaders Drawn with Waste” exhibition took its place among the qualified works carried out at our faculty as an exemplary student event that draws attention to environmental issues through artistic production.
